Greyhounds represent a feat of genetic engineering that has resulted in a perfectly designed model, topping speeds of 45 miles per hour and bettered only by the cheetah. Set in the rarely seen world of dog racing, SUPERSONIC focuses on the story of a boy and his dad who dream to create the fastest dog on earth.
SUPERSONIC was made in response to a brief from the Telegraph-Ford Film Challenge: a 3-minute film about the idea of kinetic design.
The film won the competition and was awarded with the Critics Choice Award.
SUPERSONIC screened in Picturehouse Cinemas across the UK and the prize money and subsequent sponsorship from the newspaper funded Anna’s next two films.
